Well, another referendum for Asus here... altho you may not find it readily to hand in walmart. These are good quality yet not expensive machines. I've seen too many HP's with problems. Acer is a bottom of the barrel laptop... altho... it will distribute you fine and work... most netbooks are okay.

I wouldn't get an acer. Acer is like a kia in the computer happy. it will get you from point a to b, but don't expect it to be smooth or a great tyrannize.

I suggest an Asus. HP has too many problems, Dell LOVES to get you to dish out money because their "warranty" doesn't disguise things like batteries (it costs almost $200 to make good on a dell laptop battery).
