A few days ago I tried starting my laptop as wonted, but all that appeared was a black screen . The power debark comes on and everything sounds conventional but nothing on the screen . I tried connecting it up to my tv to see if its unbiased a imbroglio with my screen , but nothing happens and strangely sometimes it indeed turns the tv off. A baby who is a bit of an IT crackerjack has looked at it, and he said when he connected it up to another supervisor about 1 in 6 times it would line so he suggests it's an result with the graphics anniversary card.

my acer aspire 5315 laptop screen goes black when its booting up?

hi when i boot up my acer aspire 5315 laptop the screen stays black, i have removed harddrive and reminiscence sticks and replaced them,i have hooked it up to my tv and it works interesting can any 1 help?

1) took obscure off of fan/circuit board

2) take out fan (3 screws) and find colossal amount of gunk on cooling fins at fan disch. Blew out with compressed air. Also cleaned fan blades.(reboot shows didn't fix.)

3) Repeated not concordant with 2, Pulled out memory sticks and cleaned terminals by rubbing with lint emancipate cloth. Replaced memory sticks.

My woman's Aspire 4520 did a similar thing. Hers, you can still see stuff on the screen in a flashing enough light, but the backlight doesn't come on. The screen inverter is in the main the culprit in these cases. You can find replacement inverters on ebay and several sites from rather cheap to slightly expensive.. Hers from an recognized site would have been $70.
