My fellow-man has an acer aspire laptop that fell and the screen broke. its a 14.1 inch screen and i was looking around on ebay for a replacement and i was wondering if you could buy any acer 14.1 inch screen or do i requisite to buy the same model screen?

Acer does not fabricate LCD screens. The screen in that laptop is made by companies like AU Optronics, Chi Mei, Samsung etc.

This means, you can securing compatible screens, they don't have to be the exact screen that you currently have.

I've done trade with laptopscreen1.com before. I believe they are on eBay as well.
