I keep in it down and put the replacement battery in and let it demand whilst I reinstalled Windows XP. It didn't veil down unexpectedly once in the modify. Although, once the replacement battery got to 100% I unplugged the power chain and connected the Ethernet line to the laptop to update Windows as the wireless wasn't working for some discuss with. Then it coop up down whilst it was downloading the updates.

Acer laptop shuts down automatically after a 'exception illegal instruction' window pops up?

I have an Acer Aspire 7540G laptop, it's only a few months old. (Basically new.)

It's constantly having problems, including overheating.

Now, i get a bulletin that pops up saying 'exception illegal instruction', and it shuts down automatically before i can scan anymore?

It's really annoying.

Actionable exceptions could mean anything.
Nothing you can point a finger at unless you the hang of the gobbledeegook it throws at you.
