yes you can but there is no feature trust me......... far to much hassle if u ask me...

While your i5 processor is unbiased fine, only 1 type of core i5 processor is interchangeable with the i7. If your Acer came equipped with a Intel Core i5-700 series processor you can swap it out for an Intel Core i7-800 series processor. Your computer either came with an i5-430M (2.26GHz) or an i5-520M (2.40GHZ) and these are not interchangeable at this everything with any of the i7 series.
