Current processor is an Intel Nucleus i3 350M and my laptop is an Alienware M15x. I prerequisite to upgrade to either an i3 with a higher Clock Career, or an i5/i7. Would it damage my laptop to upgrade. I will also upgrade the RAM from 4GB pre-installed to 8GB Corsair. My Video Comedian is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series. Laptops are a lot harder to upgrade yourself. I'm not even convinced if the Intel CPUs have laptop adaptation VS desktop versions. i wanted to buy an alienware mx15 with i7 processor and ati radeon 5850 will this be enough or should i go with i3 processor and 1gb nvidia well-drawn card.
