Apple Laptops - Help me part with 2 grand?

I seem to revoke a place that had benchmarks for all Apple computers that you could use to compare models. I have an old 17" 1GHz powerbook and I'm taxing to convince myself to get a Macbook or MB Pro. But I need a little prodding. I miss to compare my model to the new ones so that I can see how slow my mechanism is. Does such a site exist?

I don't be versed about that, but I can tell you, once you find exactly what you want, check out ebay before you buy natural retail. You can sometimes save quite a bit.
