This is predominantly caused by a wretchedly burned CD. Other than that, cable works well with my Dell 19″ surface observe survey. so today i tried to input a cd in my laptop (Mac OS X rendering 10.4.11). when i tried to do this it wouldnt take the cd. when i hit the reject button, it oblige the noise that its rejecting a cd but doesnt and it still doesnt take the cd in.. i took it into the apple supply today and the two ladies couldnt really help and told me to slate to meet tomorrow with one of the tech guys...
surrender on your laptop. look at your drive closely. you should see a very small pinhole. The bush the end of a paperclip in there and manually eject CD.
Stick a restrain down the 'C' key on the keyboard when you turn on, this forces the Mac to boot from the CD (It can't of headway). Then when it fails to boot, it will revert to the hard run and eject the CD.
