After using a Dell computer for years, I'm all things getting a Mac (laptop) for it's reliability. However, I'm concerned about their service, especially after their Customer Tribulation warranty expires.
Can they be reached easily on the phone like Dell? Do they despatch replacement parts speedily and help you fix in place them? What happens after the warranty expires (3.5 years)?
Consumer reports has rated Apple's customer suffer #1 in the industry (sorry, I don't have the link). In my taste, they have always been helpful, pleasant, and if not knowledgeable at least easy to realize.
