Dual Boot Apple Macbook or PC Laptop?

I'm growing to buy a new laptop and thinking I may go down the mac root - even though I've never used one before.

I do a lot of photoshop m and web development using visual studio and dreamweaver.

Could I use a mac order (or do I need a mac book pro?) and dual boot with vista? If so how much hard thrust space would I need to set aside for this?

I would go with the Mac since you do want to do photo editing.

You can run Vista with dual boot.

I would set aside at least 250 GB of intermission for Vista. This may not be the correct amount and someone will tell you less but at least this way you have space for more programs on Vista and or files. If it was me, I would give Vista 500 GB.

You should be skilful to easily dual boot a Mac to run Windows as well. It may take awhile to set up but there is a feature in Mac called Bootcamp which allows you to boost up the process.

Photoshop (and the adobe suite) can run on Mac if you have the just version. Not sure about Visual Studio though.

I could use dual displays - MacBook primary screen and DVI connected Apple Cinema Display, also only DVI vet with both OS.
Look closely at the OS/metal goods combination. And that's not VMWare. This user has dual booted Windows XP on a MacBook Pro, specifically so he could use WinXP as his inborn OS on an Apple laptop. Stunning.
