3 months in use of the new macbook pro's and the bang on fan (underneath the 'backspace' key) started to crackle.
The noise is like a clock-ticking noise but at a faster figure. I have already open the motherboard up, and have investigated the fan. There is no lose wires AT ALL.
I've had unerringly the same problem! Wierd!
I almost brought it to the shop, but here's what I did before:
- I closed the lid and using a vacuum cleaner, I succionned the inch of the lid, where the air spaces are located.
Notice that this did not resolve my refractory immediately, but over time (1 or 2 weeks), it disappeared.

It should be relevant to as no surprise by now that I am not a huge fan of Apple, the company. I do think they abscond excellent hardware, and my laptop is a MacBook Air running Windows 7. Their task practices, however, are pretty shady, and it’s my opinion that they detain nothing but contempt for their customers..
