21.07.11 I have not treated this case circumspect. I have just tossed this case in my backpack and worn the back as a coaster for the ipad to keep it off the counter,but the leather is handling it attractively with no skuffs or marks. I like having the iPad out of the case for common use. Some cases stay in some sort of jacket during use, Steve Jobs sheds a scurry every time a case like that is used. Apple spends all their once in a while shaving millimeters off the iPad, and we put them right back on by putting on a thick case. That being said, this is a pointed looking sleeve that feels like it gives more share of mind that your iPad will stay protected.
