(March 13, 2011): Using it on a Windows XP computer. No problems installing, no problems fiery, burn speeds are great. Overall a pronounced value and a great burner.

I have ASUS L3000D laptop (XPPRO) and the dvd drive has stopped working/missing. It isn't showning up in BIOS, My Computer or Figure Manager.
I have tried the dvd drive in another laptop and it works fine.
I have tried a working dvd drive from another laptop and have the same maladjusted (isn't showning up in BIOS, My Computer or Device Manager).
