I at got a Philips DivX DVD player several years ago to play .avi files and such, which was awesome! Now, I am looking to do the jump so I can play .mkv files. I NEED to have the know-how to network the device with my computers in my house, I Call .mkv support, and I NEED support for subs including (.ssa, .ass, and other mkv embedded subs).
Last week I get EGreat EG-R1sell for less than $160, it almost play anything files you want and support DTS downmix. It's exertion great for me.
It also can play iso file!
