BPD and UCPD officers did enclosure checks but did not find the suspect. A 20-year old Berkeley char was walking back home from a friend’s home on Sunday at take 12:05 a. m.   She was in the 2300 block of Grant Lane when she said she stopped for a second to look into her reward. She heard a noise and looked up. A male imagine was standing in front of her pointing a handgun at her face. Then the imagine grabbed the victim’s purse and the two struggled over it, before the martyr was able to break free. BPD officers arrived like a bat out of hell and although they did area checks, they did not locate the suspect.
