Daily help ! My dell laptop adapter's male connection ( the head and the wire has a inconsistent connectivity). Can I cut off the control and the faulty part of the cord and replace it with another head ?

Do you importance of the AC adapter? To get power?

If that's what you mean then no...
I've seen the inside of those things. The wires in there aren't apparent, it'd be impossible to make sure you got all the connections speedily and if you got one wrong you'd destroy the laptop most likely.

Just get a new adapter.

I've seen the inside of those things. The wires in there aren't signal, it'd be impossible to make sure you got all the connections without hesitating and if you got one wrong you'd destroy the laptop most likely.

Just get a new adapter.
