How to connect to the internet with a Dell Latitude laptop.?

I honourable bought a Dell Latitude laptop and i cant connect to the internet with it. I am not on my desktop and i cant understand out how to connect. Each time i try to connect it makes me write my phone number and dials the number. I only just bought the laptop refurbished please someone HELP!

What you're tiring to do is use dial up internet. The previous owner had dial up ad their fault. The latitude should also have NIC and wifi capabilities. Go into connections and kill off the old relations. Then connect your pc to your router and use the network connection wizard to screw.

You need to already have an ISP and a router. NO new PC already "comes with the internet".
