I buy, develop intensify, rebuild and handle D610 laptops and found that while Dell doesn't muster the D610 as talented of ceaseless the new Windows 7 OS, I had no facer installing it on one of the rebuilt laptops I'm selling. It works keen and offers the purchaser some of the complex options associated with the new OS. I didn't have to do anything individual during the investiture and it acually went in very dissipated and tranquil. The Win7 OS automatically installed the driver for the Dell 1370 wifi anniversary card and opened the "stitch to" election upon the reboot. You may desideratum to validation for the typical of wifi index card in your D610 but I've had no question with mine. The only emergence I have encountered on any of the D610s is with the video unveil. I fair-minded upgraded my Dell Latitude D610 to Windows 7, but the original audio driver for my Sigmatel audio colophon is not compatible. Windows searched online, but could not find one. I tried booming to www.sigmatel.com, but that site nolonger exists.
