Dell Latitude D630: Processor and Memory - Heat and Weight?

Dell Latitude D630: I necessitate to get one of these for law school. If I buy a more powerful processor and greater memory will this get hotter when it runs? Heavier? I crave to get the 4GB memory and I think it was the 2.5 Ghz processor. My friend said this will manly the machine really hot. Is this true? I won't be doing too much more than entrancing notes but I want to get a sick machine. Any input?

It will not net it any heavier, or at least, not noticeably so. I am not sure if it will make the engine significantly hotter than normal, but the D630 does run very hot sometimes. If you are doing anything CPU intensified, the area around the fan will be hot enough that you cannot hold it for very long. This is noticeable when you use the AC, however it is virtually cool on battery power.
