I ave 2 Dell 2009W LCD Monitors that are hooked up to my Dell Latitude E6500 laptop (via the E-Mooring Plus Docking station)....By having my 2 Dell monitors hooked up in this way i can have both monitors displaying at the same all together (in my case i have my desktop extending across both screens).
Try swapping them single shot to see whether the same thing happens.
