My reconsideration could be not so hope as I am second-hand to cope with Lenovo (IBM) laptops and berth stations that are far improved than be like Dell products in my thought. Well, I do use this port replicator with a dedicated power give original PA-10 that is most forceful than the PA-12 one you most often use with the laptod (90W rather than of 65W on European shop). Doing so, I was reliable that a the fix would be well powered and that I would not physiognomy a power outgoing in the dock remarkably for the USB ports that could submit up to 500mA for each one (according to USB average). The only USB peripherals that I can buckle to the replicator USB ports are a mouse or a USB key. Even while using two USB ports for providing more power. On a Lenovo 2503 Advanced Mini-Medic, you well-founded poverty to use a free port and you can waste a DVD.

I have a DELL PA-10 19.5V 4.62A 90W AC Adapter. This is superficially compatible with a Dell D600 (Latitude) & DELL D-Series Docking Level or D/Port Replicator. I am using a PR01X D/Port Replicator.
The problem:
"Your power adapter does not victual enough power to run the attached docking station .
In fact your power adapter is probably a PA-12 or a 3.62A, so cease and make sure if you have a PA-10. If you have a PA-12, then yes that is not enough amperage for the laptop and the docking post. You instead need to get a PA-10, which gives you your 4.62A that you call for for both. btw, put your other one in your laptop bag because you can still use the PA-12 when using the PC alone.
