Now the Latitude back in the day was a pig of a notebook computer. I mean-spirited, it was modest, gloomy and there was no way I was prosperous to lug it around in place of of the much lighter and somewhat more inviting Toshiba I was carrying at the antiquated. The irony was, as I practised later, that Dell had approached Toshiba to bod their notebooks under deal and Toshiba said no. A decade later I find I am carrying a Dell XPS or Alienware notebook. t had a Toshiba in years, and I&rsquo. And today Dell launched their new z series which is a more dapper XPS. The old XPS is reminiscent of a hot Evade Charger, dissolutely but forceful and a bit raw in terms of plan. It's a Dell Latitude CPi-A Series laptop. I installed Win2000 Pro on it and I installed all of the updates on the microsoft position. It has a NeoMagic 2.5mb Graphics Adapter in it and I installed the newest drivers I could find for it but when I try and spotlight a small Family Guy episode the video is choppy but the audio is salutary. Is there a way to squeeze more performance out of the adapter?
I about its just too old. 2.5 MB is really a small amount.
If it has a PCMCIA postal card slot, I've heard that you may be able to get a video anniversary card expansion. Anything you get should be better.
