I thirst to buy a Tablet PC, but the cheapest thing out there $1000. Is the price of Tablet PCs expected to let go of anytime soon? Also, I don't mean a tablet like the iPad, I am talking about something like a Lenovo thinkpad, HP tm2t, Dell xt2, or the Fujitsu lifebooks. And not Apple... Sorry I'm not unreservedly a PC fanboy, but I just don't think Apple is so great.

20.07.11Foxconn's R&D band of 100-200 staff responsible for developing Dell notebooks have reportedly socialistic and joined Compal Electronics due to Foxconn making adjustments in its notebook area operations, according to industry sources. Foxconn has adjusted its notebook design and will no longer adopt fierce price cuts to make orders starting from the recent round of plead for for quotation (RFQ) for 2012 notebook orders. Notebook marque vendors worldwide are currently processing RFQs for 2012 and Dell's undertaking notebook orders are mostly complete with 90% of the bulk being handled by Compal. The sources believe the orders of 10 million establishment notebooks from Dell will help boost Compal's annual notebook shipments to 53 million units, up 12% on year. Meanwhile, Dell's consumer notebook models are mostly handled by Wistron.
