I found the Dell the most interesting unit in antediluvian 2010 for the follwoing reasons:. the 6-apartment battery gives me more air in good time always than the 3-cells batteries in so many other netbooks . the keyboard is a contentment to standard on rapidly. the motion pictures is strict, colors vibrant. touchpad is of a - pleasantly and usable magnitude. I’ve been using the Mini now for a a handful of of days and I’m not thwarted. I use it for not burdensome web surfing, emails, and typing (the immortal quintessence apps of a netbook).

The laptop will be for a learner. It just need wifi and whatever else students use these days.
Go with the Dell. HP has had a bad reliability / over the last 2 years. Dell somewhat better. See below:
