This laptop was not value the bills when it was new. This laptop replaced my old dell latitude C640. It’s an OK laptop that does the job. But I would acquiesce in with the other reviewed that “it should run faster” looking at the specs. In comparing the specs vs. my old C640, it’s got stand-in the celebration, twice the CPU, clone the harddrive, etc… yet I only see a tiny carrying-on recuperation. I have run windows XP, Vista, and wasn’t especially impressed with the behaviour of either of them. On the pro side, the process is satisfyingly and big, the keyboard is big and smug, has 4 USB ports, and came with 2 batteries (one of which has already died).

More than anything else, I appetite the laptop to last a few years under normal to heavy use, and the laptop invalid to protect the motherboard and electronics from excessive lead, and offer good resistance to warping and cracking, anyhow-joints loosening and separating, keys coming off, buttons sticking, etc.

u can try getting a compaq or an acer but corporation me the cases today are getting not as strong and cheaper to devise the laptops "lighter" and not as abundant as they used to so u r not going to get one that is going to drop against but i have some recommendations. 1 when traveling buy a VERY GOOD laptop chest.
