I want to install windows xp pro on a gateway t-6330u that has windows vista. How would i do that?

I already have the xp disc and i have already tried installing but it cannot skim my hard drive and the partions i have on it. So when i hit "Position" it crashes and gives me an error communiqu. Does anyone have a solution for my problem?

Easy, go to this position and download hiren's bootable cd, then burn that to a disk and run it as principal boot (boot from cd-rom) use it to format your current pressure, or you can also use partition magic if you have that. After your drive is fromatted you can introduce windows xp. You see the pc sees Vista as an upgrade and wont let you disenfranchise to XP so Vista must be erased to continue.
