At one aim (this year?), Dell and HP were offering windows xp downgrades with some of their new computers--there is also an xp module in windows 7 Pro/Conclusive. Anything else?
25.05.80The feel mortified, cheap notebook PCs were instantly attractive to users in the imploding saving of 2008, and many experts predicted they'd dominate the pocket landscape. And when their owners bent to those tasks, tight and poorly designed keyboards made netbooks uncomfortable to use. The early buzz quieted as authenticity set in, and the release of the first iPad last year didn't expropriate, drawing buyers away from lower-priced portables. In April, a Microsoft Mr Big said netbook sales had fallen a massive 40 percent, a big factor in an overall reduction in sales of consumer PCs. But while we've all been distracted by the shininess of the iPad, something engaging has been happening to netbooks.

This is a 1 year old HP Mini 311 Series Netbook. This Netbook has been upgraded to 3GB Ram and has Windows 7 and has a N270 Atom processor, NVIDIA ION LE with HDMI produce, and Wi-Fi (802.11G), 11.6" display, and 160Gbyte Pitiless drive. I will also throw in a Logitech Wireless mouse and carrying the reality.
Now, there are two greater reasons to pay close attention to the Mini 311. It may dedicate the prior Minis in terms of size and fashion, but it's the differences within that promise to make this a new, refreshed utensil.
