I have an Apple Cinema Bog-Panel Display monitor which works significant with my MacBooc laptop. now I just received an hp laptop and I have to work on a windows XP programme. Is the monitor compatible with the hp laptop?
No. You CANNOT use the Apple LED Cinema Display with an HP laptop.
The Apple LED Cinema Unveil can only accept a miniDisplayPort video signal. It will NOT calling with VGA, it will NOT work with DVI, and it will NOT work with HDMI either.
The older Apple Cinema Displays (non-LED) have a DVI input. Those will drudgery with any DVI- or HDMI-equipped computers.
