why does my computer shut down byitself even when the battery isnt low?

for exemplification the battery life on my laptop will be at 59%, but then my computer autimatically shuts down. im wondering if it could be possibly because i have a bad power adapter.

Does it ALWAYS turn off at 59%? It's possible that your computer somehow was set to shut down when the power level reaches around 59%. Find Power Options through your search bar or look for it in your charge panel, click Change Plan Settings for whichever power surroundings you use. Click Change advanced power settings. Look for the Battery + box.
