The Printer works tremendous. I purchased the printer specificaly for the put out directly to CD/DVD purpose. I chose the HP over the Epson due to the reviews I scan about the Epson printers that printed in a little while to CDs. I right away discovered that Roxio EMC does not have a guide listed for this printer. Well, after two hours of inquisition & iniquity, I have the EMC labeler program printing right away to CD/DVD using the HP Photosmart D5160 printer. The following settings will give you to use this printer with EMC tag creater as well:. Fit your printer using the software provided by Hewlett Packard.

I hardened a non hp ink cartridge and now the printer won't work. Do you have to use HP products?
I was advised by HP to NEVER use non HP products. I have been captivated care of by HP on this issue and am very satisfied with the results. Task Max should pull the non HP ink products off the shelve.

Some of the inexpensively ink catridge will hurt your printer in a longer run. Be aware of that. Try to honourable the head after you switch the ink catridge.

No, you don't have to use a HP printer cartridge with a HP printer. You do, however, fundamental to ensure that the cartridge you are trying to use is compatible with the HP printer. Does the box say that it works for your particular HP printer?
