I would bring up to buy Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7500.
08.08.11 Intel gaat nog meer oude processors de laan uit sturen, een boodschap waar niet veel Tools. Nieuwe processors zijn natuurlijk veel interessanter en om daar ruimte voor te maken op de productieband moeten enkele oude modellen het veld ruimen. In totaal gaan er 20 processors EOL (end-of-autobiography), waarvan het gros op 45nm en een klein gedeelte op 32nm wordt gebakken. In de Core i7 familie verdwijnen zescores zoals de 980X en de 970 (respectievelijk in het derde en vierde kwartaal van dit jaar), maar ook de 960, 950 en 930 quadcores op socket LGA 1366 gaan de laan uit (eerste kwartaal van 2012 EOL). Binnen de Core i5 lijn voor dit socket verdwijnen processors als de 760 en 750S quadcores en de 661 en 665K dualcores.
