Is there ANY grade at all the Intel Core 2 Extremes shine much brighter compared to the i7 cores, the laptop versions, even with turbo as well? Maybe multi-threading and CPU-reliant programs? Any size at all or is the i7 really a complete and whole upgrade?

Yes. The core i7 processors are raise processors all around, because they are the replacements that Intel has designed.

Is it nice that the Core 2 unconventional processors run at their speed all the time? Not really, when you contemplate about it.
