I recently purchased a MSI 8800GT which came plant overclocked to 660/1650/950 core-shader-mem separately. Which of the two would increase performance more often? I was able to overclock this car-card to 701/1750/100. Which is most important for performance. I am willing to forswear shader for clock speeds. I play mostly Procedure Games.
The shader clock (espouse number) should always be double the core clock (first million) if you want the best performance. Also, the memory clock (third calculate) is very important for performance.
