For PIM-like goodness, I use progression and multisync. I set up a connector in multisync, with syncml at one end constant as a server on the adjoining engine, and growing at the other end. I then add a new sync profile in the tools/sync segment, syncing over the internet. I set the appliance's IP address, and give it the username and countersign that I told multisync to use. I also had to permit some way out in multisync to control wretchedly encoded strings, wihch Symbian devices use. Once this had been done, I could exceptional that sync make capital out of, and it would update my production contacts and date-book entries from the phone, and defect versa.
