I made it above all for video editing and I wanted to go with a in fact self-indulgent Intel Sandy Tie processor. I chose the Intel Pith i5-2500K so I needed a P67 motherboard at the on one occasion to overclock and I didn’t have need of anything outrageous but I wanted USB 3. 0 and SATA III so I chose the MSI P67-A-C43 motherboard. This motherboard retails for right-minded around $120 at Newegg so it’s a quite shoddy motherboard. But since it’s a cheaper P67 motherboard it absolutely wasn’t designed for conservative doing with things like SLI and CrossFire which was attractive with me since I didn’t develop intensify the system for gaming. As far as the socket goes this motherboard has an LGA 1155 socket which currently only supports the new Sandy Traverse or transfer beginning Essence processors from Intel like the i3-2000 series, i5-2000 series, and i7-2000 series. In other words it can labour with all of the newest desktop Intel processors as of mid-2011 but that’s as likely as not successful to exchange eventually.

You can get a 6950 (which is cheaper) and flash it and turn it into a 6970 for munificent. If you google how to do it you should find plenty of results. There are 'how to' videos on Youtube as well.
