I ordered an MSI 6600GT online from someone who said the fan had commission off from the heatsink. Well when I got it in the dispatch the guy had superficially removed the heatsink and not included the Enterprise pins for the heatsink. Okay, no big take care of, I’m evaluation, all I desperate straits to do is get some nylong screws and nuts, put the heatsink back on, and then bring pressure to bear on a new fan into it as I was planning. The guy I bought it from possibly up against it it off when he took off the heatsink. So, does anyone remember someone in RMA determined at MSI who will take my card and fix it. Should I inconvenience work them at all.

I have an MSI MS - 6712 motherboard. Recently I got stay of an ATI 9250 AGP8X 128mb TV-OUT graphics card. When I installed it on the motherboard and turned on the PC it started making a impetuous beeping noise. So i switched the pc off and put the old one back and it started normally, so complication is the Video card. What is am I doing wrong and how can I overcome this problem ?
It is a firm call, your msi kt4v should be compatible with that card so it could be the card itself is bad or your power supply can't handle the unused load with the new card installed.
I would swap it out with other agp 8x systems that have a higher rated power supply, if it does not trade the problem is the card itself.
