My old Microsoft Intellimouse had problems. I couldn't snag a file or folder and drag it to another part of the desktop. Assuming that the progressive-click button had worn out, I bought another Intellimouse. Now, my label new Intellimouse has similar but different probles. I can click and inch but when I left-click on a taskbar button and nothing happens.
Is your computer equipped with USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports? For newer devices, 2.0 is necessary. Also, did you install the device drivers from the included CD?
