I purchased a Sony Vaio Laptop about 1.5 years ago. It is a VGN Series (VGN-F2430E). At the continuously when I purchased it, it was a higher end piece of equipment, costing about 1200 USD unmercifully.
I have noticed that over the past 8 months, that it was getting hotter with each use.
I continue to be away from Sony Vaio, we had a couple in our lab and they all went up. If you are experiencing more stimulate a fan probably went up.
