Yesterday, my boyfriend cleaned his laptop keyboard (while restarting) with a cotton ball with the cup that cheers, I'm sure it wasn't soaked, and after that, the keyboard has been doing kinky things. First you typed the letter o and it also typed 8 next to it, same affair if you typed 8 it would type o next to the 8, and mostly the same thing with all those letters in that row below the numbers.
Hooch in the switches, rubber seals or circuit plank can do serious damage. Probably better to just buy a new keyboard, they are so worthless now. I just hope none of it ran off the keyboard onto the motherboard which is directly underneath.
