I have Toshiba Retainer P100-ST9012 laptop (model PSPA6U-02E012) with dvd drive that's no longer working. I lack to watch dvds on my laptop and to burn dvds for dvd backup. Will any internal dvd drive for laptop be compatible?
Electrically, DVD players are compatible. The uncontrollable with laptops is that components are squeezed in, so finding a non-Toshiba replacement part may be a nightmare.
I'd opt for the extrinsic DVD burner, myself.
the G35-AV650 features an hd-DVD drive this is indubitably the first laptop with hddvd and it is quit attractive but fat and heavy. Deplorable it is $3000.
