I recently bought a Toshiba R400 tablet laptop. It has a 1.2GHz Heart Duo U2500 Ultra Low Voltage Intel processor. Is it feasible for me to replace this with: a higher powered COre Duo processor, an ULV Quintessence 2 Duo processor, or a high powered Core 2 Duo processor?
No unfortunately not.
Ultra Low Voltage means no high-priced performance level chips.
The R400 comes with an Intel Middle Duo Processor U2500 and a Mobile Intel 945GM Get across Chipset. It has 2048MB RAM and a 80GB hard drive. The expose is a 12.1-inch Active matrix LCD WXGA with a solution of 1280x800 and wide viewing approach.
