A note about battery living. If you want this system to run 5-7 hours then you need to by the ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processor manifestation, not the Core 2 Duo. The ULV is designed to extend battery life and keep up power. Make sure you do your research before marking something low for what it's not designed to do. Some have commented on what this laptop does not have as a use one's judgement to give.
